If you are like me, than you are sick and tired of being sick and tired…You see I work from Home. Over the past year I have tried everything to get my MLM business off the ground. But I have found out that my upline is dead wrong…I and over old-school MLM business building tactics.
You see, over the past year I found out that most MLMers and network marketers should just take their stupid flair and fliers they want you to put up in the neighborhood, along with the door-hangers, and hotel room pitches, and put them where the sun doesn’t shine…See what I am getting at?
Being a child of the Internet age I am not inclined to go out and badger strangers at a mall, or spend hours on the phone talking to people more desperate and broke than I am. I want to wake up in the morning to my coffee and a full email inbox. This is after all the Internet Age! So I needed to find a way to get my Upline to Wake up! Some basics are that you need to know how to generate online traffic. You will also want to have capture pages to gather leads. Having a formula in place is of huge value so that you have a system you can repeat again and again.
So in this new My Space, Facebook Web 2.0 era, you have to learn how to generate leads online. You also have to figure out what to do with them. This is where the real “thinking” comes into play, it will ultimately determine if you’re successful or not.
First Step has you developing a blue print for your marketing program. It is vital that you have the mindset needed to work in this industry, inspire your prospects, and also know your current competition. Who knows, they may someday be a part of your downline..
Second Step is learning to generate online Traffic using things like blogs, Google Adwords, search engines, articles, press-releases, and CPA networks. Then you need to know how to turn this traffic into live, exclusive leads for you and your business.
The third step is understand how to find the cash in your list of prospects. You will either promote products or services, such as using affiliate offers or making them customers of our products first, then sponsor them into your opportunity, or you can learn how to create and market your own information product to sell to them.

Actually, I think you would be surprised to realise just how many marketers utilise web 2.0 to promote and grow their businesses.
I have seen many a multi level marketer on facebook, myspace, twitter, etc.
The trick, however, is knowing how to use it well - I can imagine many of them waste several hours of their time on those types of site without seeing any results.
