Article marketing seems to be the latest rage and with good reason. It’s by far the best free method of promoting your business and increasing your sales and opt in subscribers.

By submitting your articles to article directories, article announcement lists, and ezine publishers, you accomplish several things.

First, you establish yourself as an expert in your field. Readers are more likely to listen to you if they feel you know what you are talking about.

Second, by attaching a resource box to your article, you are giving the reader a link to your website. If the reader is impressed with your knowledge, they will likely click on your link to see what it is that you are offering.

Third, you increase your search engine page rank by providing a non-reciprocal link to your website. Search engines seem to give extra weight to non-reciprocal links in their page rankings.

But many marketers are not comfortable writing their own articles. They just do not know how to put their thoughts into words. Or worse yet, they do not have any thoughts worth printing.

That is why private label articles are in such high demand these days. There are several of these services available and more seem to be popping up every day.

Therein lies the problem. Depending on how these articles are used, the results can be good, bad, or downright ugly.

The Good: As stated previously, private label articles, when used correctly, can give the non-writer a big advantage over other marketers. They can increase your traffic, sales, and opt in subscribers. That is good.

The Bad: A common mistake made by marketers using private label articles is getting lazy. They simply copy and paste the article and submit it, as is, with no personalization.

At the very least, you should change the title. Most article directories require that your article be approved before they are posted. But do you really think they read every article that comes in? Not likely.

They get dozens, even hundreds of submissions every day, so it’s unlikely that your article will actually be read.

But most directory software will automatically search their database for duplicate titles. If the title of your article matches one in their database, yours will be rejected.

So do yourself a favor and at the very least, change the title. It might also be a good idea to change the wording in the first paragraph.

The Ugly: Many marketers load so many links in their article that it becomes one long ad. This will not only get you rejected, but eventually banned if you do it often enough.

A good article contains useful information to the reader whether they buy your products or not. Give them good content and you will increase the chances that they will click your link in the resource box.

Private label articles are a great tool, but do not get lazy!

Are you tired of not seeing your GDI downline grow? Welcome to the Todd Simple GDI Prospects Downline Income Builder Blog Article. Dear GDI Members and Prospects Stop spending so much time and money to build a life-long income with GDI when you can do it in just 5-10 hours per week using this simple, inexpensive and PROVEN system! I was frustrated by lack of GDI business. The big question for me was how do I get GDI signups online? The answer is Todd Schuyler’s Simple GDI Income Building System</a

We have decided to take action, and help turn the table for GDI affiliates worldwide! GDI affiliates have been telling us they need New marketing resources, a way to track, manage and follow-up with their GDI leads without breaking the bank. They’ve let us know that they need a full-featured contact manager that will help them schedule tasks and appointments so they can stay on the track to success, and money.

After looking around to see what else was out there, We’ve found that it’s the same old story. There are a handful of GDI promoters that are savvy enough with technology, and they have built substantial incomes using their own systems. They know the ins and outs of this business, and have set up many tools and techniques to guarantee their GDI success online.

But here is the flipside. This home business is about helping others just as much as it is about helping yourself. “You can have anything you want in life if you just help enough people get what they want in life”.

Although its importance is undeniable by Internet and networking experts, the reason most people fail to earn the levels of income they desire is because they drop the ball on the third item above, the follow-up, or they fail to properly train their organizations on how it can be done without a lot of extra work, time or money.

In this home business, you are selling yourself as much as the opportunity you are promoting. Even while promoting what we believe to be the greatest home business opportunity since the creation of the Internet, you’re going to have a difficult time making money if you don’t give your prospects an excellent reason to be working with you instead of someone else who might offer them more help and time, or more extensive knowledge.

That’s why I created this GDI Simple system, and it’s why I’m sharing it with you. This web site offers you a way to professionally promote Global Domains International, and I’m making it available at a much lower cost than you’re expecting. In fact, I also personally guarantee that it will help you get more leads, prospects and signups.

My GDI system allows you to choose from pre-created capture pages (fresh new ones), along with an autoresponder series that is designed to promote GDI using a proprietary rapport-building method. All of the prospects you generate using our system are stored in a leads database for you, which you can easily broadcast to at any time with the click of a button. You can also add contacts to our full-featured contact manager, set appointments or tasks, and be reminded of these things by email at whatever date and time you specify.

In addition, you can export your leads for use in other autoresponder systems if you desire. Here’s a sample of what you’ll get. Excellent, proven and tested ads to use. Many Professional, Eye catching and approved capture pages. You get Professionally-written autoresponder series,Email broadcasting system, Contact and task manager for setting and keeping appointments, Prospect export capability and much more.

A simple GDI business-building system that works! With this system, you plug in your name, email address and your GDI username, and everything else is ready-to-go within seconds. You can then start promoting your capture pages, banner ads, and more using whatever advertising methods you choose, even free methods. The Program Works!

Your GDI business leads will be “conditioned” by our autoresponder series to join you in your Internet business using the proven strategies we’ve used for years to successfully recruit people into our GDI organization. We’ll keep in contact with your prospects for months, automatically. Far too many affiliates foolishly let good leads fall through the cracks just because they don’t signup right away. That won’t happen with this system.

We feel strongly about GDI and about You so we have decided to assist you in your home business success by providing you with the effective tools that work for us, and the current members who actively use our program month after month, not someone who is trying to get rich “on the side”. This system is designed for people who are already members and promoters of Global Domains International, Inc. If you are not already a member, please go to the GDI Sign Up Websitetoday.

In order to take your online business to the next level it is crucial that you have a website that not only looks great but which visitors will find easy to navigate as well. If you intend to use the services of a Wilmington web design or an internet marketing Delaware company it is important that you keep certain things in mind as you carry out your search.

One of the first decisions you need to make before you start searching for any web design company is the amount of money you can afford to invest in this aspect of your business. Remember the first thing that any potential new customers to your business well be in contact with is your website. Those sites that look professional are ones that are going to be able to gain their visitors trust more easily and of course the chances of them purchasing from that site are greatly increased.

Many companies do offer to design and build sites relatively cheaply but often they will use a standard format that you yourself may be able to get hold of and which have been used on hundreds of other websites. The problem with using the sites which have been mass produced is that the chances of problems arising once they are up and running is increased.

Yet you could spend tens of thousands of dollars on a site and don’t expect them to be any better than those which have been mass produced. Certainly there are plenty of people who are willing to take your money and then use a mass produced website in order to create one for you. So you need to be wary and it is important that you carry out as much research before you choose a web design service to use.

Below we offer some advice on what you should be looking for when it comes to selecting the right Wilmington web design or internet marketing Delaware service for your business.

1. One of the first things you need to do is contact those web design services that you have placed on a short list (phone or email). Then wait to see how long it takes them to respond to you after making first contact with them. Just because they haven’t contacted you within the first 48 hours does not mean that they are not interested. It could be because they are too busy, they are understaffed or their business is completely disorganized. If it is either of the second too then this is a time to think about using another service instead.

2. After initially making contact with them and whilst waiting for them to respond start carrying out some background checks into the company. Take a close look at their portfolio which any reputable service will allow you to do by visiting their site online. Spend time looking at and comparing the various different levels of service that they provide. If you find that they offer sites in your range which look unprofessional or amateurish then this will give the same kind of image on your business. For a few dollars more pay for something that really speaks volumes about yours.

3. A great way of getting a better understanding of just how good a particular web design service is, is through spending time looking closely at their own website. Look not only just at the designs overall look, but also at the quality of the content within the sites pages. Also work out if they have a site that anyone new to it will find easy to navigate. A company that is able to design sites such as these are going to be able to design a website that will help yours to stand out from your competitors.

Sometimes the most difficult part is knowing where to start. Have you ever had someone show you just how to do some something. They go click, click, and click - Done! And you’re none the wiser; You see everything is easy once you know how. That’s my purpose here. It is to help you see it as easy. So let’s look at these four steps.

Step 1. Begin

To start move your mouse to “File” and click “New”. Next you are asked to specify the size of the new graphic. Usually you will already know what size you need as you will be creating a graphic for a particular purpose. Let’s say we are going to make a header graphic for a web page. On a sales page the headers are usually about 700 pixels wide by about 120 pixels high.

Step 2: Choose A Background.

There are three options to choose from. 1. We could put in a solid color as the background. 2. For more flair we may decide on a gradient. 3. We could insert a picture as our background.

If we choose a solid color we need to specify what color we want. We can do this on the floating toolbox, usually on the left-hand side of the work area. You will see 2 color boxes one over the other. Click on the top box and a color chooser comes up. Choose your color. Now click on the bucket tool. If you don’t see a bucket tool move your mouse over the tools until you find the gradient tool. Right click on the gradient tool and you will see two options, gradient or bucket.

Once you have chosen the bucket tool, move your mouse over the new graphic you are creating. You will see the mouse pointer turn into the bucket tool. Just one click and you have your chosen color as your background.

If you decide that you want a gradient as your background, you will need to turn the bucket tool into the gradient tool. Once again you will need to choose a color. This time you will need to use both boxes. The gradient starts with the top color and finishes with the bottom color you have chosen.

On the top bar of the work area you now have a choice of different looking gradients. You will need to experiment with this to get the effect you want. To make the gradient, click and hold the mouse where you want to start and drag it to where you want it to finish.

To use a picture is easy. With the newly created graphic still in the work area, open a file of the picture you want to use. This picture needs to be the same size or larger than the graphic you are creating. Pick up this picture with the mouse and drag and drop it into the graphic you are creating. If the picture is larger than the new graphic you will be able to move it around until it looks to be in the best position.

This works with JPEG Files but does not work with Gif files.

Step 3: Import more images.

Photoshop works with layers. Each time you add something new to the graphic you are working with you add a layer. On the right hand side of the work area you should see “Layers”. Click on it and a whole list of the layers of the active graphic will be shown. You can click on any of these to make them the active layer.

To import a picture is exactly the same as what you did in dragging and dropping the background into the graphic. When you drag in a picture you always have some background with the picture. If the background is mostly one color you can easily remove the background and thus expose the background you want seen. To do this you will need to use the eraser.

If your background is all one color, let’s say white, you can use the magic eraser. Right click on the eraser. Three options will appear. Choose “Magic Eraser”. Move your mouse to the part of the picture you want to get rid of and click. In one click it will remove the unwanted background of the picture you dragged in. While you are in that layer you can move this picture to where you want it by picking it up with your mouse.

Step 4: Add Text

Each time you start new text you create a new layer. This means that the text can be moved into any position just as any layer. Photoshop does not always space the lines of text as I like. I overcome this by making each line a new layer and them I can move them where I want them.

In the left hand tool box there is the text tool “T”. as in any word processor program fonts, styles and size can be chosen in the bar above the work area.

Once you have set your text you have a lot of things you can do to make them stand out. On the top bar of the work area you will find “Layers” Click on it. In the drop down box that appears choose “Layer Style”. This opens up a lot of thing you can play with. Drop shadow, inner shadow, outer glow, inner glow, and bevel & emboss satin, color overlay, pattern overlay and stroke. You will need to play with these to see what they do. As you play with them you will see instant results before you commit them.

With this you have created a simple and professional graphic to use on the web.

Just save it in Photoshop PSD format. This will allow you to come back and change anything you like. To save it as a smaller file suitable for the web, go to “File” and choose “Save For Web & Devices”. This will produce an image that will load faster.

Web hosting began in the year 1990 when Tim Berners Lee wrote the first web program. Many other programs were written thereafter, and many companies came up with their own web hosting service which made possible the present scenario, where there is tremendous growth in the arena of web hosting. It is also interesting to note that prior to 1991, nothing called web hosting was known to the humankind. This invariably means that there was no concept of the internet in 1991 as well. But if you want to find out the history of web hosting today, you would have to take recourse of the internet. Such has been its development! Technology has developed a lot, and the internet is the biggest development after the radio and the television. It is again worthwhile to note that internet is powered by more than 50 million websites, which form its core base. Ask yourself, what would you do online if there were no websites at all?

A look back at earlier days

The concept of the Internet had been brought forward in August, 1962, by J.C.R. Licklider, at the MIT. He wrote many articles where he saw a vision of the concept of Galactic Network, which connected millions of computers with each other, where the resources were common for everybody to use. Licklider was then supposed to visit the Advanced Research Project Agency [ARPA], which was the program of Computer Science at MIT. He would try to impress the successors of the need to develop the concept of computer networking.

A fact that may be of interest to many people comes from the development of the ARPA which was devised by militants in the same era that NASA was constructed. With the Cold War scares of what the USSR were going to do in the space race, there was a need for the USA to keep up with them and counter their launching of Sputnik, the artificial satellite put into space by the Russians. The first concept of computer networking was based on packet switching, and this allowed data to be sent via telephone lines in a tiny bundle as opposed to sending it via bulky circuit lines. A benefit of this was that the connection was only being used when data was physically being sent through it and this allowed the computer to undertake more actions. Further developments came when Paul Baran was constructing a project to ensure the telecommunication system would exist after a nuclear war and made the Hot Potato network design. This is what was set the cornerstone for what would later become the internet.

The next step was to enable the computers to communicate with each other. 1991 was a landmark year for the foundation of internet. The internet was an entity already, for sure, but a stage was set for the internet to get bigger. It began when the NSF [National Science Foundation] decided that it was high time the commercial restrictions on the web were lifted. This opened up a world of possibilities for the internet. It gave birth to E-Commerce, and brought with it many companies who foresaw that web hosting will be a booming industry in the years to come. Late in 1991, people at CERN introduced WWW [World Wide Web] to the world, which incorporated the HTML [Hyper Text Markup Language], developed by Tim Berner Lee, which used specifications for the website URL [Uniform Resource Locator]. Besides providing the world a host of abbreviations for various terms, it became the most common standard for location of website addresses.

As the internet expanded, its user base grew and it was no longer the preserve of computer literate people and technically minded folk. New features made it easier for the common person to use the system but equally, there was a drive to push technology further, so the setup became more complex in other ways. It was predicted by the business sector that the internet would boom and be a future hit and many organizations attempted to capitalize on this.

Web hosting was pretty expensive in the earlier days, but now it is quite reasonable, though a bit complex for a common man to decipher. The beginning saw big companies renting space on their server, and this has become a business now. The number of companies offering web hosting services is equal to the number of companies providing access to the internet. The internet has evolved with the evolution in computers. The way business is conducted has seen a drastic change with the introduction of computers and web hosting facilities.

Today there are over 35,000 businesses that play host to in excess of 100 websites through their server. This industry is growing due to healthy competition and in the time it takes you to read this article, there are probably hundreds more companies who have joined up. The WWW has had many programs but the first was a hypertext editor which made its debut in the NeXt machine. This progress was brought about by Nicola Pellow, a student, who brought about the line mode browser. Its main purpose was to provide a platform for discussion by people looking to research certain areas and this was made possible by the server publishing details of HTTP, HTML and UDI. Further progress was enabled when internet browsers such as Mosaic or Cello were created which allowed people to operate and search on machines which were not the NeXT model. The next notable landmark year was 1994 which heralded the start of the World Wide Consortium when firms came together to develop similar practices for web usage and which became the basis for a world of web sites.

Earlier versions had seen the use of a number of TCP/IP features which allowed users to network but at the time, it was not known what the potential for this setup was going to be. Recent IETF meetings have viewed these TCP/IET protocols with more praise and acceptance than previously and have acknowledged the advances since then. To enable this expansion, tools were needed and how best to enable this was the basis for much debate. As networking was a key issue, products to enable this were developed and this allowed users to be able to connect to the internet. At the time, this was the edge of what commercial possibilities stretched to but as more people got online in huge numbers, it was vital for people to have this service and the internet easily captured the interest of many ordinary people. The advances made by the internet were down to huge technological improvements.

This is why many Information Technology firms and trend setters, such as Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, IBM and many more have got into the internet industry and provides services, products and tools to better the service of web applications. People dont want to think about too much on the internet, they mainly just want to get to a specific site and this is the way that web servers have been created to perform.

The hardware manufacturers have also built power servers to catalyze the growth of the industry of web hosting. There has been a phenomenal change in how the internet is used. It has undergone a drastic change from the PC’s [Personal Computers] to the client server to the P2P [Peer to Peer] network. Various features that have been made possible by the internet include sharing of data and information, emailing, remote logging and a host of other features. You name it, you have it! However, keep in mind that this transformation is still in progress. Internet television and internet telephony are other features which have been developed of late. It will be very difficult to say to what level the internet will have reached after, say, a decade!

Do you balk at the thought of making your own website? You are not alone. Many people think that creating a site is just too hard. I want to put you straight, it?s not as hard as you may think.

There was a time that you would need to know HTML to build a web site. Today you don?t need to have any knowledge of HTML and you will still be able to build a great looking site. Having some knowledge of HTML can be an advantage, but without it you will still be able to create that site.

You don?t even need to get expensive software to do it. There is open source software available. Open source software is created by programmers all around the world who work together to produce software that anyone can use. Is software often rivals the paid versions of similar software. In other words. Because it is free does not mean it is cheap rubbish.

The free website creation software or HTML editor is open source. It’s called NVU (Pronounced N-View). To download it just do a Google search for NVU and then choose the download suitable for your operating system.

How To Use NVU

Let?s look at using NVU. NVU is WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get). It looks much like any word processor program but it does not work like one.

Unlike a word processor, you need to be able to work with images as well as text. You need to have control in placing each component where you want to. When you first start this, it will seem difficult. The truth is that everything is difficult until you know how. The purpose of this article is to help you master being able to place components just where you want.

Even though the screen looks much the same as a word processor, and many of the tools have the same or similar functions. There are differences. The main one is how to place objects where you want them to appear.

So now let?s concentrate on how to place things where you want them. The key to this is tables. If you want to place text next to an image you need to create a table with 2 columns. One to contain your image and the other for the text.

You can also create tables inside tables. This will allow you to create a box inside a table. The background color can be set for each table and even per column. You can set the width of a table by pixels or by percent. If you created a table that was 70% and the centered it it will be 70% of the width of the table it was created into.

Tables are the building blocks of the HTML site. They allow you to control how your page will look. Tables can be made invisible so everything looks seamless. You can create an invisible table by making your border thickness 0 pixels.

This is the main thing you will need to master. Once you understand this the rest of the program will fall into place. In mastering this free software you are now able to use such programs as Dreamweaver and Microsoft Front Page as they are similar to use.

Opinion should be left to politics and religion, Opinion has no place in advertising. Eight percent of the world’s people being Protestants believe that both the Buddhists and the Catholics, and all others, are deplorably ignorant of the only true faith, which of course must be their own particular sect of Protestantism. And, neither Buddhist, Catholic, nor Protestant, can convince the 2 per cent of Jewish people that their opinion is wrong and should be changed. I can prove to you which advertisement will have the highest return on investment.

Too many business owners seem content to spend their money on mere opinions about advertising when they might have invested it on facts about advertising. These are the Advertisers whose business must die before they can be convinced that Branding is wrong and reason why advertising is correct.

They blindly gamble in Advertising when they might have safely invested in it. If they were to buy any other kind of Service, except Advertising, they would demand tangible proof of its efficacy before they spent money on it. If they hired a Salesman, for instance, they would expect him to prove he was earning his salary by making a satisfactory Record on Sales. They would not accept, for long, statements from him that he was? Making a General impression on the Trade? for his salary. Nor would they be satisfied with the statement that he was branding profitably enough to compensate for lack of sales.

Because, true Advertising is only “Salesmanship-on-paper” after all. When it is anything less than Salesmanship it is not real Advertising, but only “General Publicity.” And, “General Publicity” admittedly claims only to “Keep the Name before the People,” to produce a “General impression on the Trade,” and to “Influence Sales” for the salesmen.

Bad Advertising makes the same lame excuses as a Salesman who failed to earn his salary in actually selling goods. But General Publicity, or any other Advertising, should be judged by the same standards as the Salesman is judged, viz., by the goods it is clearly proven to sell at a given cost per dollar invested in it.

A 1st impression in terms of the internet is the 1st time someone uses an internet browser to open up a specific Blog. Most men and women read from the top down, that would logically prove that the 1st part of any Blog that most men and women see is the header graphic. The header graphic is the portion of the Blog that has the Blog’s name and usually a graphic picture of some sort.

The header is the portion of the website that has the website’s name and usually a graphic image of some sort.

With that much importance riding on the look and feel of the header of a website, it is puzzling then why some websites pay such little attention to making sure their website’s header projects a positive and exciting image. A poorly designed, or amateurish looking, website header is one of the fastest ways to lose the traffic that has come to the website.

When someone opens up the first page of the website, if they see something that looks unprofessional then they may look at going to another site that may take the material they’re looking for a little more seriously. The last thing any website should want to do is turn people away that come to visit it because from the looks of their header they appear to be an unprofessional or amateurish site.

Professional image designers are available in different places online and finding an experienced one with good references should not be too much of a challenge.

With a professionally designed top header image Jpg added to the top of a weblog, 1st time viewers of that weblog assume that they have come to a site that is better than some of the sites out there that appear to be hobby sites. A top header image design that gives off the feeling that it was professionally done can add to the legitimacy of the overall weblog.

This works for more than just the homepage too, as most websites use the same header graphic picture on every page within the whole Blog.

With that in mind, a professionally designed graphic image at the top of every page in a website means that no matter what page someone surfs to as a result of what came up in search engine results, their first impression will be a good one.

Not all web hosting plans are created equal. The ownership of a website becomes an important thing. If you’re just getting your site up and running, you don’t have extra capital to spend on web hosting, so you’ll want the most bang for your buck. Website is a place where you can promote a product or service. That’s why choosing a reliable and affordable web host for your site is an important step to do. There are several issues that you would want to consider.

Some of the most affordable plans have more generous allowances than higher priced plans, and some have less.
